Thanks to the resources and experience within the Chamber, as well as its strong business relationships across the greater Manchester area, it is well-placed to assist members in finding relevant business information, support and advice. No matter what you might need, our staff is able to point you in the right direction. Membership in the Chamber also connects you with close to 500 other members who offer a great deal of collective wisdom and knowledge. 

Lobbying and Involvement

Seeking members’ opinions on business matters and communicating those views to local government are fundamental functions of the Chamber. Likewise, we strive to  aid with policy development on key issues affecting local business. Our team members have strong working relationships with local officials and are ex-officio members of local boards, including the Downtown Manchester Special Services District and Economic Development Commission. The GMCC Team is also involved with/Members the Manchester Community Services Council (MCSC), CT Business & Industry Association (CBIA), East of the River Chamber of Commerce Association (ERCCA), and the Manchester Arts Commission.
